Mike Rodel

Hi, I’m Mike. I’ve been working in marketing since 2017, and moved to the Pro side of the AV industry (from Home Audio, eCommerce) in 2019.

I’ve always been more of a generalist marketer, and have been completely self-taught throughout my whole career - this is one of the reasons why I believe in networking, sharing tips, asking communities for advice and all that jazz.

Key things to know about me:

• I’m the Managing Director of The Inside Story, a full-service marketing agency specialising in Pro AV

• I got my first job at 13, selling pints of maggots and making cups of tea in a fishing tackle shop (important not to muddle the two up)

• I make my own pasta and yes it is worth the extra effort

• I firmly believe that sharing insights, information and ideas with others is a great thing to do

• I will generally have a food or bar recommendation for pretty much everywhere
