Code of Conduct

1. Purpose

This community exists to support marketers working in Pro AV, Pro Audio and Entertainment Technology. It is a peer space for practical discussion, shared learning and professional development.

Participation implies agreement to this Code of Conduct.

2. Professional Conduct

Members are expected to:

  • Treat others with respect

  • Disagree constructively

  • Share responsibly

  • Keep discussions professional

This is a peer community, not a public comment section.

3. No Selling or Solicitation

This is not a sales channel.

  • No pitching products or services

  • No unsolicited direct messages

  • No harvesting member information for outreach

  • No adding members to mailing lists without consent

If commercial partnerships exist, they will be clearly disclosed by the host.

4. Confidentiality & Sensitivity

Members should not share:

  • Confidential company information

  • Non-public financial data

  • Private client materials

  • Personal information about others without permission

Chatham House-style discussion is encouraged: share insights, not identities, unless permission is given.

5. Inclusivity

Harassment, discrimination, or hostile behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.

This includes behaviour related to:

  • Gender

  • Race

  • Nationality

  • Sexual orientation

  • Disability

  • Religion

  • Age

6. Moderation & Removal

The host reserves the right to:

  • Remove posts

  • Issue warnings

  • Suspend or remove members

At their discretion, if behaviour undermines the integrity of the community.
